Supper at the Caribou Grille

Once in Valemount, we walked up main street to the Caribou Grille. It had the heatest decor... and the food was terrific too...real ceasar salad c/w anchovies for real!

We had a beautiful day!

The weather just warmed up more as we headed west. The rest stop at Mr Robson was gorgeous...what a view to enjoy your coffee by....

And they're Off!!!!

We are heading off for the Merritt Gold Run rally! Going as far as Valemount, BC today. What gorgeous weather for a ride!!

Mmmmm....cucumbers.....

Kristin had a bumper crop of cukes this year, her first! So we ate lots of them and she made her first pickles...I think she has a few more jars to go with the last of the cucumbers she picked yesterday. Good for her!

Ted and I are leaving for Merrit BC the end of this week. After Merrit, we are heading to Spokane, Washington. We plan to take our time going down and coming home.....Our last holidays for the summer.

Squeaker is going to stay with Digit and Kristin while we are away. Hopefully the kitties will become friends! We were there Friday night for a sleepover and Digit just hissed at the baby all day...but Squeaker kept chasing her and pouncing on her anyways! She must sense she is really not mad at her!

One Happy Scrapper!

Scott & Stacey had a great holiday in Jasper this summer and sent me all their pictures to scrap!! So I have a mile wide smile!!! Notice his very short haircut for the summer.

So Much Fun!

These past 2 weeks have been a joy around our house! Little Squeaker has definately added a lot of laughs...not that she laughs, but we do, watching her antics! Last night she got to playing with the laundry basket as I folded clothes & towels...

First bath!

I have never bathed a kitten before...it took two of us! She only weighs 3 pounds so there's not much to her...but she sure smells nice now!

Hallway Flooring is finally in!

Scott came out on Saturday to help install the hardwood flooring in the hall....at last it is done!

Cucumber Krissie!

Tyler & Kristin planted their first garden at his boss's acreage...and what a bountiful crop of cucumbers they harvested! Will let you know how the pickles turn out!

Are we obsessed?

All my posts lately have been of Squeaker, ...... well she's just so darn cute! And she does funny little things all the time...I'm sure it will wear off.... Besides Scott is coming out to finally help Ted put the flooring in my hallway! So I'll be there to chronicle their day!

Took my little darling to the vet this Thursday for shots and a check up. It seems she is about 3 months old, and had to get some medication for worms!! Ugh! But she is healthy & happy...she LOVES attention. And we love the entertainment value she has added to our household!!

Attended a Wedding this weekend

Barb & Mike Gendron's daughter, Danielle, was married this weekend in Westlock. (Kristin & I were all eyes, as our wedding will be in the same facility next July! ) The Bride was gorgeous and her gown was absolutely amazing!
