Poor lil' Squeaker....

Our sweet little kitty is in heet. (I'm sure she would be very embarrassed if she knew I was telling everyone) I feel so terrible for her. She's miserable...and she doesn't get in to see the Vet to get fixed until next Thursday....luckily for us, she is VERY cuddly. I've heard some cats can be mean and hiss & spit ...and won't come near you....but Squeaker is not like that. She has never been outside without a leash, but she is hanging around the doors....we had better keep a close eye on her...

Winter is upon us in a big way! Ted got out the snow blower yesterday...we really had a ton of snow overnight!
We attended our first Christmas Party on Saturday night for the GWRRA chapter...at the River Cree Resort in Edmonton. We stayed overnight at the Mariott hotel in the complex, a 4.5 star hotel....WOW! Now I know why people look for 5 stars! We had a gourmet feast at the banquet...nothing was ordinary, not even the turkey! The servers were plentiful and not ONE gave us attitude, which is RARE these days! Definately going back there next year!
I did the powerpoint presentation of our 2007 in review (with a little help from Ted & Mark...thanks boys!) and Ted did the music with ipods. So we both had our laptops going! And I took oodles of pictures, although not one of us!!!
I got all my Christmas cards & letters mailed yesterday, and my mom's parcel off as well. Now to just add a few finishing touches and I'm done for this year. I did most of my shopping while we were on holidays this summer....and picked a few things up here & there. I was actually surprised when I looked in the closet (where I store all my goodies)...I had more than I thought! This year has gone by so quickly, but I guess I did get a few things done!
