I told her, "One of these days, you're gonna fall in!" and this morning while Ted was in the half bath, he heard a "kerplunk" and she was in the toilet! So at 6:30 this morning Emma had a bath. She actually did well: she didn't fight it like Squeaker used to, and she hardly cried. (I think Squeaker was crying right along!)

Then after the bath, she tried to get dry by licking herself. How does that work? We had to be at the Vet's by 9 am for her spaying, so in the end, I wrapped her up in 2 blankets to drive over there, as it is -25 C here this morning. She was still a little damp, but she smelled heavenly and she was all sparkly clean for the operating room!
