New Furnace on Friday!

The old furnace was much larger than the new one - it looks a little lonely sitting in that big space! Of course in this shot, it is not completely finished yet. It took a whole day to install - along with the chimney pipe, (old one was comelpetely corroded!)

Tyler & Kristin are back from Vegas!

They were in Las Vegas from April 15-20th. Saw a couple of awesome shows & had an all around great mini vacation!

All this food is diabetic right????

No snow!

Now all we need is a little rain and sunshine and things will turn green!

Spring is Here!

The SNOW is gone! It melted away in 3 days. Edmonton got more snow yesterday, but we missed it! The light rain melted away the last of the snowbanks and now we just need a little more to wash the dirt and dust away!
The kitties are in and out all day. (That little cat door was a godsend). Squeaker has taught Emma well - as soon as anyone comes near, they both shoot down the basement to hide! So they won't run away on us! haha!
Ted is officially riding his Goldwing all the time now. For morning coffee, errands, Breakfasts on Sundays, etc. At this time of year, it is nice to have the heated seat and heated handle grips!

Easter Dinner at Grampa's

Sorry about the poor photo, but my flash didn't go off - I suppose due to the sunny window, but I was really disappointed that it didn't turn out better. We had a nice visit, and for the first time, we went home and the kids stayed & visited with their Grandparents!

Allergy Season!

And with Spring comes allergies . . . and guess who has 'em? EMMA!!

She was to the vet clinic today and has a prescription for eye drops! And what next?

Salmon flavoured toothpaste for the kitties!!! No joke! and I need to get a perdiatric tooth brush too!! Too funny! (What isn't funny is the price tag: $8.39 for this little tube! Yikes!) But for all the entertainment those little fur babies provide: Priceless!

Spring is taking over . . . fast!

The view from my front room window. You can't see how high the snowbank is....but it's very high!


And "first aid bags" are swear words in this house (long story...goes back a few years) So I am happy to tell you I finished this lot... however, didn't even have time to do a happy dance before they ordered another 25! No rest for the weary!
