Rememberance Day

November 11th is day I don't forget - it is my dad's
birthday and today would have been his 80th! WOW!
I can't imagine having an 80 year-old parent!
Well, as it turned out, I don't. Dad died in an accident
in 1978, 3 months after his 48th birthday. But I never,
ever forget his birthday! And I'll never, ever forget him . . .

Feeling Better Today . . .

After a few nights of good sleep, I am feeling better today.
But this cough wears me out! I put a load of clothes into the
dryer from the washer and felt like I just had a "Last Chance
Workout" on the Biggest Loser!!! *gasp*

Down with the Flu. . . is it H1N1?? Who knows?

I woke up Monday with a dry hacking cough that
deteriorated into the flu before nightfall! Rats!
I have been unable to keep up with things all
week- did you get the number of that bus that
ran over me??? Have to be off work for 7 days. . .
been wearing a mask at home so I don't infect
my family . . . . no fun at all!

Big Night last night!

October 31st was the last of 9 performances for the
2009 Rotary Dinner Theatre. Our family came out in
costume for the event. Kristin made all the costumes,
with the exception of Nellie's-- she saved her high school
sweater from the Class of 1951, Berwyn High School. Amazing!
Did you remember to put your clocks back one hour?
We were thankful for that extra hour of sleep-
especially after the wind-up party for the cast & crew!!

Happy Hallowe'en!

Tonight is the final performance of the Rotary Dinner
Theatre, so I get to see the play and Ted's role in it!
Hopefully I will get some good pictures of the show
or at least parts of it! Kristin and I are going to dress
up in costumes, since it's Hallowe'en anyways! At the
very least I will get some shots of those to show you!

Speaking of Cartoons I found . . . this one's a dilly!

This is Steven ...

. . . . the golf pro who is married to an RCMP officer here
in Westlock. So far he has been working for Ted almost
everyday, but tomorrow he and his wife are heading to
Las Vegas, baby!
