Weekend of Relaxing & Friends

 Went out to Baptiste Lake to camp overnight at Dan & Deb Ouelette's cabin.  We took our tent, but they offered us their guest trailer!  Were we grinning ear to ear??

 Ted took this Razr out for a spin. Nice quad trails near by.

 Supper of chicken kabobs, corn on the cob, potatoes & dessert!

 Sunday morning Ted took me out for a ride . . . we found these bones and the mystery was solved soon as we got back.  Hunters drag their leftovers out into the bush . . .  carcasses are not welcome at the Dump.

That grin was permanently glued to my face . . . it was a great ride, especially being belted in!  Whoohoo! The rain the night before left some boggy areas that we navigated with gusto!

I know a Guy . . .

 New Flash!  Went to the Dump yesterday . . . at last, my yard is almost empty of junk!

 I know you're not supposed to bring stuff home from the Dump, but I couldn't resist this chair . . .

I know a Guy who can fix it for me!!!!  Emma LOVED it too, she kept snuggling up against it!

First Day of Summer!

Don't you feel sorry for the poor kitties??  No patio cats so far this year.  Maybe soon . . . .

Spirit Center Officially OPEN

 Saturday the Westlock Spirit Center had its Grand Opening.  It began with ribbon cutting earlier in the day then later, “Hockey Night in Westlock” the theme for the supper & fund raiser. "Don Cherry" was our host for the evening & he had several of Westlock’s finest residents placed in the penalty box for a fee, with a fee of  equal value to let  them out.  Trivia answers or a song entitled tables to proceed to the chow line. . . followed by dignitary speeches & live auction/silent auction. So proud of our new Center!!

 Of course had to have Ron McLean along . . . but wouldn't let him say much!

John Lehman Memorial

The Memorial was awesome.  Leann did an amazing job of the video tribute!   It was simply stunning!
Met lots of old friends and aquaintances . . . always a time of getting together.

Zumba on the Street
