First Ride of the Season for Me!

Traditional Mother's Day Ride today in spite of not-very-nice-weather. Ted & I left home at 7:30 in 3 C and it didn't help that the wind was nasty. Thank goodness for heated seats & vest! Breakfast was brisk with news that the Edmonton Journal had an article on Lucille summiting Mt Everest (today's Journal). Then onward by ten for our ride. Fifteen bikes in three groups with lots of shivering ladies- any who didn't have heated jackets!!

Our destination was Homer's Hut in Alberta Beach. A big pot of delicious soup was waiting for us!

Ted and I headed straight home, after going in and out of rain droplets along the way. I jumped right into bed for my snooze before work and conked out immediately.
