"Uh-oh" (Motorcycle talk: )the rubber valve stem was half ripped off, so the tire goes flat.
With no tire or motorcycle shops open on a Saturday night, we had to improvise. Emile Lambert provided giant c-clamps to squeeze the tire to expose the valve stem, which was then replaced with a metal one.
Making sure not to drop the bolt, the new stem was installed. The clamps were released, and the tire pumped up and voila! Ready to hit the road!
