The 9th Annual Celtic Pub night (and our first), was held at the Community Hall, sponsored by Victim's Services Unit and RCMP. Wow! They did an awesome job of decorating the hall, which was flooded in green light, walls lined with plaid banners, black table cloths with bright plaid mats . . . it was so well done! A huge silent auction was included with very nice items, as well as good food and a pub style bar with very Irish ales!
The Boys of St James Gate did a fine job of keeping everyone toe tapping! They were much sought after and I can see why . . . the fellow on the far right could play anything . . . and did! Bagpipes and all. You have never heard a rocking rendition of "Amazing Grace?" You would have at pub night!
